okay so lemme get this straight. connor can reconstruct past events, preconstruct future events, manipulate anyone, use any weapon, excels at hand-to-hand combat, bring androids back from the dead for limited periods of time, figure out everything about you just by looking at you, forcibly interface with other androids and have access to their entire memory, and move his fucking consciousness into other androids at will. that’s not even touching on the fact that he has access to apparently every government database in existence and can upload himself to the cloud if his body is about to die.
I just wanted to stay alive…get back to the one I love. I wanted her to hold me in her arms again… make me forget about the humans…their smell of sweat and their dirty words…
It’s surreal that “if we take away the thing making people grovel for their lives, then how are we going to make them grovel for their lives?” is an honest to god argument that more than half of the us population finds compelling
“If we end hunger, then how will we be able to threaten people with the specter of starvation?”
“If we guarantee housing, then how will we be able to exploit them under the threat of homelessness?”
